and garments rolled in blood … shall be with burning and fuel of fire” (Isaiah 9:5). This is a difficult passage in the KJV. “Battle” is translated from a word meaning “boot” of a soldier. The text says that no more military apparel or equipment will be necessary and instead will be used as fuel for fire.
